Privacy policy

How Marifest handles data — the open registry is public and indexable; your account data stays private. Plain-English summary below; full policy text to follow.

Open data,
private accounts.

The short version

The registry is open

The public ship registry, port directory and sanctions verdict are open data, indexable by search engines. Browsing them requires no account and sets no tracking.

Member data stays private

Your account, watchlists and alert settings are private to you. We never sell member data, and we don’t share it with third parties for advertising.

Only essential cookies

We use the minimum cookies needed to keep you signed in and the site working. No advertising trackers.

In plain English

Marifest’s mission is an open maritime record, so the registry itself is public. The data we protect is yours: your account, the vessels you watch and the alerts you set. We collect the minimum needed to run the service, never sell personal data, and keep the full legal policy text available here as the product reaches general availability.

Questions about data?

The open registry needs no account. When you’re ready for member tools, upgrade any time — and cancel any time.
